mc; ot what amazes me is how they can photograph a piano soloist's back during a concert. A great deal of the enjoyment with Van Cliborn is watching his hands and face as he plays. Wonderful how many senses can be nurtured on these little boxes. I am sure the further development of the internet will herald much more in our future. There even was a rejuvenation of Prokofiev doing Rachmaninov from a piano roll. When I was a boy, I used to go over to my neighbors house and play all of her rolls on her player piano for her, as she could not pump due to arthritic pain. Wonderful stuff.
