Well, a few years back Reader's Digest named it the #1 "family city" in the U.S.

All that aside, real estate is moving very slowly.

From another view point I do track the number of homes listed for our area at "foreclosure.com". Although this includes foreclosures, FSBO's, and bankruptcies the number of homes listed (65) has actually remained steady for the past several years.

Still, to see that there was not a single home, condo, or any other property listed in the RE section which in the past had typically at least an ad or two by large realtors and some FSBO's is quite amazing IMO.
