You know, the news isn't all bad for the Dems. If McCain wins, he "wins" an economy headed to recession, and possibly depression- depending on how the Fed manages or mismanages this- and he inherits a ME that could quite possibly explode in to violence. I'm a little ambivalent about having the Dems get blamed for whatever nastiness happens in the ME next. I'd much rather McCain get blamed for it, since his policies have had a tangible connection to the problem.

So I won't be wringing my hands no matter who wins. If Obama wins, I'll be happy for him, but I'll also be worried that he inherited a big steaming pile of crap to deal with from Mr. Bush.
