I am so sorry about your friend. I pray for his family, and for your peace in loss. Believe me, I know what it means to lose a friend. I lost one myself, through liver cancer, the year I turned 55. He was nine months younger than I, but a respected colleague and close friend. A terrible loss for me. My friend suffered from the treatments as much as he did from the cancer. That's what happens when you don't know about it and let it go too long, I'm afraid. I'm sure you have a lot of support at home, but if you ever want to unload just PM me for my email address.
