I believe it was. In thinking back on it now, it seems a little weird, almost, the way we drew closer to each other as her time neared. The difficult times between us, spread out over 38 years, became so insignificant it was as if none of the tough times ever were real. Her loss served to remind me of the importance of reestablishing my relationship with our Lord.
