Reminds me when 15 or 20 years ago I went to a sushi restaurant with a (very liberal) business affiliate of mine to meet a couple I knew well in Palo Alto, CA. While my business buddy also knew that same male part of the couple he had no clue of her Nicaraguan background. It was easy enough to jumpstart my buddy on one of his favorite themes, the Sandinista "freedom fighters" et al and he really got himself going. That was until the wife of our business connection opened her mouth and corrected a few things based on her own sad experiences while still stuck in Nicaragua. After the dinner my business affiliate bitterly complained, that I "had set him up" and so forth. I just thought he needed some help to get his distorted ideas slightly corrected and told him so. Still beats me why he totally disagreed. Taro
