Buying the food would not be a wealth transfer. Just as with oil you are better off not worse off from the purchase. Your wealth is higher than if you did not make the purchase, because the purchase enables you to create wealth. You are so steeped in your ideology you can't see reality Tim. It's actually funny... you think we are wealthier with $100 oil than with $20 oil. Go figure.
