it has taken me awhile to get to the point where I agree with you on this. I have understood since I was a kid that we have been warming since the end of the last ice age (for those of you that have forgotten, or never learned, look up the Vostok ice core curves), but have been concerned that the synergistic effect of man could help push the top of the warming cycle to higher levels than would otherwise occur. After digging around over the last few years, trying to pick through the facts and propaganda presented by both sides, I am now strongly biased towards the idea that the theory of the threat of runaway global warming is largely based on statistical b.s. and that the concept is being hijacked for use of large scale control of society.

Remember the massive P.R. campaign promoting the idea of global cooling in the 70's? That didn't work so I guess they needed to retool their movement.
