I guess you can call me an optimist, but I see a lot of pain
ahead for the USA. However, I have a little faith in Ben,
since he is not printing. It does not show up in Soma.

As long as this "solution" is avoided, US of A will recover
from the slump, however painful that slump may be. It will
be a very severe banking/currency crisis, but not a complete
disaster (hyperinflation). DOW/Gold will go to low single
digits, perhaps, below 1, then recover. The buck will drop
some more from here, perhaps, as much as 30-40%. The slump
will involve higher inflation, much lower asset prices, and
a collapse of derivative markets. Did I mention T-bond crash?
A severe double dip recession. No depression though -g-
Something like 1970-s, only bigger.
