This post got nine recommendations on the deflation board so maybe everybody has gotten on the dollar crashing theme by now? Message 24354979 I'm expecting inflation to moderate as the rest of the world slows down dramatically too and cuts rates helping our dollar stabilize in the near term.. Longer term the problems of stagflation and much higher rates are a given to be huge problems as we get out of this hybrid of 1973-74 and 1990-91... Will GM survive and prosper again in another year or two? Hell yes if broad money supply growth continues at high levels, yield curves steepen worldwide and long term rates remain so low..
