>>For the target audience AOL is after, the Netscape deal is great.

The target audience in this case is business users. However,
at many companies there are significant restrictions upon what
messaging capabilities can be used. In some cases, it's just
rules. In others it's blocking at the firewall. Further, most
companies with intranets already have some form of icq.

In short. NSCP-AOL not a bad deal at all. But not a killer deal.

And look for Yahoo, Excite to do similar expansion of their NSCP
relationships.
