My oldest and I had a discussion this morning about his younger brother having a problem finding a job again.

I think it all boils down to too much government interference.

Remember when you had to hire minorities even if they weren't as qualified as one who wasn't a minority because the company had to have X number? I told my son, I don't think it's as the opposition think, we haven't gotten lazy, we could all mow our grass, clean our own houses, do the jobs the minorities are saying whites are too lazy to do. We can do them, we just don't any more because in my opinion, we have been beaten so many times by government restrictions on who we can hire to do a job and who we can't. Businesses have been fined out of hiring qualified people and have had to put up with substandard workers for so long now that it's the norm now.

Granted, we needed something to happen way back when because minorities were being discriminated against for years but come on, enough is enough. It's time to level the playing field.

Reality is, we're headed for more government restrictions, more government telling us what we can and can't do. I'm just sick and tired of it.
