Mark I agree Adobe will benefit from IA64, but not till 2000. It's a bit early to get excited about Adobe's near-term stock performance because of that. The chip isn't even due till 1999, & I'll wager won't be available in quantity till 2000 - and that's if they settle their lawsuit with DEC amicably and can stick to schedule. Adobe saying they'll be on IA64 in 2-3 years is a non-news event. Adobe announcing "current" availability of their products on 64bit Alpha available today (like Oracle and Quark's recent announcement), now that would be a news event that would increase estimates for as early as next quarter, a little better than the 9-quarter-away IA64 news, IMO.

Good luck,

Tom
