A double dip bad recession is quite likely, one this year, another
one in 2011, when Alt-A reset. I would not bet on Depression,
as DOW/Gold ratio did come down significantly already. They
are inflating it all away, it's called "deficit spending". Despite
huge government spending on Iraq, government debt/GDP ratio
stayed at around 60%, which is low, compared to, say, the
Japanese. But you don't count SS and medicare, of course. That
will have to be cut and taxes will have to rise.

Also, there is some evidence US manufacturing is not dead
yet -g- Scramble all that if they attempt to monetize. Gulp!
