Brent - As I read the announcements - that is exactly what I think it is - a competing
drive that will use a 200MB disk as well as read/write to the old floppy.

I don't think this is a competing drive--they're announcing, at least in my opinion, the use of the technology in IOM's 200MB disks--at least that's my take. I guess we'll have to wait and see. . . If this is a competing product, the I'd better sell my calls because IOM won't be going anywhere for quite a while. . .

Just a thought--doesn't make much sense to announce the disks, if you don't have the drive. If, like you say, this is a competing product, then are they announcing cloned disks for IOMs 200MB drive (kind of early for that don't you think) or are they announcing the disks for another, as-of-yet unannounced drive that they or someone else is going to manufacture? Just doesn't make much sense unless it's interpreted as a product for IOM.
