Dumb question, but does the transaction have to be in "cash" or what if it is a check? IOW, if someone writes a check for $11,000 to buy a car, is that considered "cash"?

What about travelers checks....I've heard you can cash up to $4,999 in a day without flagging someone, and not having to make a form out...is that true?

Is Big Brother nearby?

How does anyone of us little' people know what you can and can't do in this respect....are there books that tell us?

Now, someone like Spitzer obviously knew. That was his business.

Almost makes me wonder what else he did....he should have known all about the illegality of what he was doing here....almost a death wish....

Did he do something much worse and this is just the beginning?
