Like I said - the collection site doesn't need to be in your backyard. Furthermore, geothermal could be a GREAT option for your region. There are options and those options are going to become more viable as technology advances. If any of us are still around in 20 years I PROMISE YOU that we'll look back in disbelief that at one point we thought Nuclear, coal and oil were our best energy sources. Right now they are but the future is coming and with any luck it will be a better one for all of us!
