I'm sorry Gloop, but you don't know what you're talking about. My husband is a General Contractor for high end residential remodel and his last client prayed for a geothermal system. My husband hired an expert to come in and drill. By the time the client had spent thousands and the driller had hit nothing but underground streams they finally gave up. We have underground water that goes everywhere and there are very few places where geothermal works.

I hope you are right, and I hope that some day we can build another house and take advantage of alternative heating sources. We really need to do some research and find them. And maybe use steel to frame the house to withstand the weight of the wind mill.
