If your talking about the income of the household, well smaller household equal higher per person income.

If your talking about the income of the worker, it also increased to a lesser extent, because female income increased more than male income decreased.

So even using not just the source you pick, but your specific quote from it, my point is substantiated.

And thats from a cherry picked point (1999) which is the strongest of any year to back up your argument. Pick any other year, or look at the whole chart on that site and you see growth over time.

Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics is more positive than the Census data.

Or is your claim that personal income or wages have fallen off a cliff since mid 2006 so my data is no obsolete? If it is, I'll look up the data since then directly at the BLS site, but if your not claiming that, its not worth taking the time to debunk claims you aren't making.
