Again. I don't think its a situation where a city needs to be right on top of it. As with solar, wind, nuclear, oil and coal I think it can be located in different areas and still power regions quite a ways away. The greater point is we're already moving in the direction of cleaner sources of energy. These new sources will have problems of their own but technology is advancing for a better future and thats good. Look at fluorescent lighting. It uses a lot less energy but it comes with some drawbacks. Those lights are charged with mercury - a serious toxin. It's not a perfect fix but its an improvement.
