Could be. Sure wish I waited a day to sell, but timing something like this mornings news is impossible. FA or TA, it matters not. Such desperate measures cannot be predicted with precision.

And besides, they just did a variation of this last Friday. I expected something a bit more dollar focused.

And that brings me to my next point. What the hell is the dollar doing at this level with this latest insane Fed action? The dollar should have dropped like a rock and POG should have taken a rocket ride. Anyone who does not believe in intervention in the gold market needs to pm me. I've got stuff to sell you <g>

Anyway, I didn't hear any news about why the dollar would be strong, but I'm sure they were selling the usual variation about MORE GROWTH. LOL, well we should have the Fed <cleaning> bad debt from every business in the USA. That would be good for more of this type of growth.

So, it disturbs me that POG didn't rally. Maybe POG bases here for a while (not a bad thing, btw), and miners catch up. We have not had any leadership from the miners for a long time, so maybe now that corrects a bit as miners catch up to a <stable> POG.

I'm going to watch for at least two days. There is plenty of time to make a new entry.

And, I plan to short the general market in 2-5 days. Might wait for the 18th. That could be a natural if they keep it up until then.
