OT:Woody I agree with what you are saying. I work for my stuff too. I know a gal who got suckered in by her banker to take on one of these loans while she intended to get a fixed rate. He kept throwing all these percents at her and fast talked her right into it. Now she's about to lose the home as the rates are jacked up to over 10% and to rise. I was thinking more in line around 6 to 8 percent would keep these people in their homes. If it's a second home well then...forget it. That's getting more into a business proposition or something. This gal was really churned by this banker and hopefully will be able to get something worked out. What you brought up was new ground for me. I didn't think about those situations. Thinking about what you say I see it as another bail out for people who again....didn't work for it. Believe me. I've worked for everything I have. I paid medical bills that could have been paid for by welfare. Too much pride to sign up for it. Now I'm not sure if it was stupid or not. Used to be a thing to have. Personal pride. That seems to have blown out the window along with the respect that goes with it. No one cares. Heck we don't even write letters to our reps about all the illegal people sucking the life out of our Social Security funds and tax dollars through government supported programs. It's all a big circle of failure for us. I'm tired of writing letters and to the point that I'm about to shut down this computer and do like everyone else. Enjoy the days because there may not be many left. We are going down the sink hole faster than we know and people just sit there and do nothing. Those who have written have gotten no where because there aren't that many who did it. The rest think everyone else is taking care of it. Well they will wake up when they see someday no one was watching out for them and the ones who were people made fun of them.
