If the invisible hand is a surefire way to improve curriculum and instruction, as the incentivists insist, why does almost every teacher-in-training have to read the works of leftists Paolo Freire, Jonathan Kozol and William Ayers--but usually nothing by, say, Mr. Hirsch or Ms. Ravitch? IMO Kozol and his socialistic indoctrination texts for teachers is more responsible than most for the poor condition of our educational system...... BTW, he's number 9 in Bernie Goldbergs '110 People That Are Screwing up America'......
