Give it up. Even the document you posted showed that those dies were all fused off and that typical die size is larger than the standard SC 1MB L2 die. 10+mm2 doesn't come from kerf. It has to be a blended SC 1MB and DC 2MB die mix. The package allows for a die size of up to 161mm2 which could take even DC 4MB dies. The volumes of the value parts, E21xx series which are plastered over all of the recent ads, are too large for Intel not to make a DC 1MB L2 die. Yet they don't. So they must have a large enough supply of DC 1MB L2 parts fused from defective DC 2MB L2 parts.

Your protestations to the contrary do not fit the facts and, as such, are wishful thinking.
