| Dear Hillary, First, I'm honored that you'd think me worthy of a response..does it have anything to do with the fact that I'm Albanian and you want me to canvass for you in Detroit with all those Kosovars? Hillary, your letter reflects so much about what I want our politicians to change, finally. As a superb lawyer, you know how to play gymnastics with phrases and their meanings like the best of them But our country has been torn apart by politicians wasting more time tearing each other down than finding solutions to helping the voters that put them in office. I respect your and Bill's history in defending civil rights but that's all it is, history. When came time to practicing what you'd implored other to do, you have failed. Hillary, let's face it, you've lived a life of privelege when it comes to race..never having to sacrifice anything in order to transcend race until this year. Barack Obama's candidacy has forced you, for the first time, to compete with a Black man for a job. He's made extraordinary efforts to make his a race-neutral campaign. You instead thru surrogates and your volunteers on the ground, have played to the fears of White and Hispanic blue collar voters. Obama hasn't made an issue of the ground workers because he hasn't wanted to drag this campaign down that road. But you know the truth. Hillary, I have no doubt that you're extraordinarily gifted..At times I struggle whether it's you or Howard Wolfson's fault...no matter, I wish you'd stuck to why you are more qualified for the job than fanning the flames of bigotry. |
