How is it that Spitzer gets to 'negotiate' with the Feds and others....if you or I had done some of what it appears he did (and I'm not talking about spending a few hours with hookers) but money laundering, or inter-state hooker trafficking...etc.. Would we be able to negotiate anything? Heh! Feds negotiate pleas all the time. In a criminal tax case, for example, they might charge evasion for four years, but will take a plea to only one year.
