KT,

How is saying that if Obama wasn't a black man he wouldn't be in this position make you a hate mongering racist?

I think it's quite easy to reach that conclusion.

1. He's getting an overwhelming percentage of the black vote instead of it being split in a more reasonable fashion like all other demographics.

2. The democrat party, many of its members, and the press are extremely enthusiastic about the "idea" of electing the first black American as president. It's a story onto itself.

3. The press and many talking heads have definitely without question been easier on him than on Hillary. IMO that's at least in part because he's black and any attack immediately makes people vulnerable to the racism charge by people like Sharpton, Jackson, and even some responsible people etc....

Obama is a really smart and charismatic guy, but I don't think there's any question at all that if he was white he would be losing to Hillary right now, even if it was still a close race. There simply aren't all that many democrats that aren't voting for him BECAUSE he's black, but there are many that are voting for him because he is, they like the idea of voting for a black man because it makes them feel good about themselves, or because he hasn't been attacked by the press equally (until recently). I think it's close to a 100% certainty that Ferraro is right.

That's the problem with the left. Perhaps the intention of Ferraro's comments weren't particularly noble, but they were the truth. The left can't stand the truth on many issues. They would rather the truth be suppressed so as not to create honest but difficult discussions about race.

I think the very fact that she's being attacked for telling the truth is proving one of my points.
