What concerns me about Obama right now is the unwillingness of many to talk about his faults.....and we all have faults. Everytime something gets mentioned that can remotely be interpreted as a racial slur it gets labeled as such. IF this man is to be our President we will have to feel free to discuss his failures along with his triumphs. Some of these situations will be directly and indirectly related to his skin color. Now that isn't necessarily a bad thing either but it will need to be talked about, and talked about in a frank and open manner.

If Democrats can't feel free to talk about race then how can we expect our brothers on the other side of the aisle to do it?

If Obama becomes our next President he will have knocks on the door of the Oval OFfice by those that helped him get elected. They will be saying to him, " Mr. President, we put you in this office and what are you going to do for us now."
That is the American way and Obama isn't going to change it. And I will add that whoever gets into the Oval Office will owe the various constituents that put him or her there. I want to know who
is supporting who so I can predict in which direction my money will be spent.

Before you think I am a stingy sort I need to add that I am on the Board of Directors of a local charitable organization and spend hundreds of hours every year raising money for the needy. I have also dared entrance to slum areas to deliver aid to families of various minorities near my hometown.

Obama's church concerns me on many levels, some of which I have written about in prior posts. I belong to an organization that requires an oath and I make no bones with others that I refuse to state it. I will not swear allegiance to any cause under blanket acceptance under any circumstances. IT's hard for me to imagine anyone running for public office that would pledge something they didn't mean. IF he is who he claims to be then let him stand up and be counted as the emperor with his clothes on!

Whenever one enters any church it is unwise to "pick up a box of crayons and check in your brain at the door". I want to know who is influencing anyone who may be our next President. Our current Pres was getting messages from his God telling him to attack Iraq...................we don't need additional surprises from the Oval office so I need to know ALL about Obama's church and what is preached there.

I have attended various churches all over this country as I am curious about religion and the philosophy it teaches. I find Obama's church, with their black oath, to be provocative. I can't imagine a church anywhere calling themselves " unashamedly white" as Obama's church calls itself " unashamedly black". Spiritual guidance can easily be corrupted by mankind when personal gains become a partner to any pastor and his or her mission.
