JDS Gets Deutsche Telekom Pact >JDSU DT Mar 12, 2008 14:21:38 (ET) NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--JDS Uniphase Corp. (JDSU) Wednesday said Deutsche Telecom AG (DT) selected the company to support delivery of its IPTV service, designed to send TV and video over internet protocol networks, sending shares up 7%. The San Jose communications test and measurement provider will deploy its NetComplete service assurance system in Deutsche Telecom's network to monitor the service quality of streaming video signals. "By selecting JDSU's NetComplete solution, service providers choose a partner with worldwide experience in IPTV test," said JDSU General Manager of Service Assurance Solutions Jerry Gentile in a press release.
