There is no snow in Calgary.

Today, the temperature is about 12C (54F) and it is a beautiful sunny day with no snow at all on the ground.

The thing that has surprised me the most since moving here last year is how dry the climate is. In fact, there has hardly been any snow all winter. It did get cold for a few days (-40C), but that was about the extent of the winter.

However, there is a lot of snow in the Rocky Mountains - they are very picturesque in the distance.
