Holy Crap! You better read this. The GAO is telling it like it is! No wonder Walker resigned. I'm guessing that with the usual gloss that this administration puts on bad news, we are in deeper shit than this reveals.

This may not be new, but it's the first I have seen of the whole report. The link has links to the whole thing as well as various parts.

Check out the Citizen's Guide for the simplified summary. The first chart is titled "The Government is on an Unsustainable Fiscal Path."

Yet somehow it decided to take on a whole shitload of private debt with its liquidity injection. And Bush want to make his tax cuts permanent, but won't demand that Congress balance the budget.

No wonder Jim Rogers moved to Singapore.
