"I'm talking about the facts and the law, not what prosecutors will do." Yeah, me too. (Would be most unusual for R.I.C.O. to be used in this case... would be contrary to the usual practice. Also: with so many new opportunities for prosecution from Patriot Act, and similar 'financial crimes' regulations of recent years, it would be totally unnecessary. Are PLENTY of possible federal charges. :-) "Besides, didn't he cut a deal to resign?" As I understand it, no, not yet.
