Tis true US takes a great chunk of global GDP. However China has an inflation problem wages demand out stripping supply and that affects all else.. Inflation problem could end if she does not tinker, Reduced exports will decrease internal cost and her inflation problem starts to be solved. Surface wise it appears that she is in trouble but her retail sales have gone up 20% that figure is internal demand and it should offset her need to export.

Assuming the above is true $US has a huge problem. At this time of the game it is my belief chance of global problem will be contained as currency crisis. The globe appears to have valid growth our crisis is financial.
