I also remember the misery index but don't remember the numbers. We have a high misery level now with the escalating high prices. Everything will jump up in price as diesel is over 4.25 a gal and truckers will be passing that increase on to consumers

I remember I was younger when we had those gas lines............even and odd license plate fill days. I remember being in line a long time so I brought a friend and we drank a six pack in the car while waiting. We raised our cans and toasted to others as we inched by.............got lots of cheers and honks from cars full of guys!!

But that was back when I was young and crazy!!

If I had to do the gas line thing again today I would just bring a bottle of Merlot and a straw and avoid making a spectacle of myself!!
