"Huckabee looks and sounds young and he seems to know how to appeal to conservatives in the South." A person from the right side of the political aisle would never write that. Even a person as close to the political center as I seem to be would not make that mistake. Huckabee appeals to religious conservatives and is abhorrent to fiscal conservatives. McCain is playing the part of a fiscal conservative.
