Not surprised. When Pelosi and her freshman came in----the call was for immediate withdrawal and cut the funds, no support for this war on terrorism and evil dictators. Thank heavens for President Bush and the military and defense operations, the American civilians who have been and are in Iraq we are now rebuilding Iraq. This war has shown the world just how evil people can be who would behead people and send suicide bombers into buildings and arm children with car bombs. The Bush administration pushed through with what needed to be done while candidates and Congress did their posturing. To Kerry's credit if he had been in Bush's position I believe he would have done the same for America and the world. We have more posturing to come. mjfdl, as you may sense I don't have much patience for this political waffling and claiming who was the earliest to be against the war and then, oh but yes, I have always been for whatever. Let's just get on with the jobs before us--------don't tell me what you are "going to do" let's do what is necessary now. mj
