Dale, I heard this evening from an old friend that Hillary is looking very strong in their internal polling in Michigan. He thinks that is why she has suddenly started to try and stake out a claim for the first votes.

She's hoping to force a do-over there. Her campaign has offered to raise half the money if Obama's will raise the other half...same for FLA. So far Obama's campaign is resisting on both states.

I think her rhetoric is getting dangerously close to hurting, i.e. playing into the character issues, esp. on the Michigan voters.
