NORCROSS, Ga., Oct 14 (Reuters) - Isolyser Co Inc said Tuesday it amended its Shareholder Protection Rights Agreement adopted in 1996 to reflect recent developments under Georgia law and assure the plan's purposes are not circumvented through a proxy contest. The company said the changes are not in response to any known takeover proposal. It said the amendment generally provides that the plan may not be modified to facilite a business combination for one year or longer following a replacement of a majority of Isolyser's directors. What does this mean?
