wso2, the most recent press release says nothing about the mix and match of unique parts included under the umbrella of the production order announcement. Are we to assume that the production order is for one type of part, or possibly more than one unique part? For that matter, who is to say that there may or not may not be be additional unique parts in the PPAP pipeline for the customer referenced in the PR? To me it is conceivable that a blue chip customer may stage new part orders depending on the previous order history of the parts in question. If there are additional parts in PPAP, then why couldn't an additional production order be be issued for these components by the same customer as the components become approved, or the original production order be increased in scope?
I guess my point is that a lot of posters see an announcement for a production order from a blue chip customer for a measly $1 million and ask themselves, "is that all there is"? Without knowing more of the details of the customer's overall needs, we don't really know.
