Now, that would be a shocker to myth: what if our markets are
not PPT futures supported and actually are free markets? It's
just the options crap programmed
by the same quants, fired by some street firms, hired
by other? I mean, how on Earth would highly manipulated gold
be allowed to trade at 1K? <g>

That market is not calm now, so expect anything, including
a crash, but the risk is to the upside <g> Liquidity is a
key element to lack of volatility, and high volatility is
present. Our equity markets are just derivative markets,
due to all the "innovations" <g>

I mean, granted, there is manipulation in surprise Fed cuts
and such, but WYSIWYG -ggg-
