I am and continue to believe that there is absolutely no political will for us to not monetize and inflate our way out of this debt quagmire.

I'm not sure they can inflate faster than the deflation is occurring.. With all of this debt being written off, that equivalent to the destruction of money..

Imagine a guy trying to inflate a tire that has a gaping hole in it..

Look at Bear Stearns today.. Upon the news that the Fed and JP Morgan were going to provide liquidity, it was up 7 points.. Now it's down 25 points.. Santelli said it correctly just a second ago.. Because not more than 2 days ago, Bear Stearns as saying there were no problems.. but then overnight we have a sudden liquidity problem that requires the Fed to intervene...

That kind of crisis of confidence could potentially have dramatic debt destruction potential..
