Mr. Owl - Those suggestions make too much sense and are too efficient and logical to ever approach reality. It's quite similar to the suggestions that simple taxes and lower rates will lead to higher overall tax payment, compliance and actual sums collected. The thought of being able to trade markets that are fair, auction based, free from MM's lining their pockets is just beyond comprehension by those "in charge." Eliminating the concept that total shares floated through the DTC may actually be random would just never fly. Why should markets be fair and why should information be available to all that is actually accurate?
