I really think he has a chance in some of these red states and most of these purple states this year. People are just fed up with the status quo, tired of paying $3.5 to $4 bucks for gas, tired of this war, etc.... If that is indeed the case, the incumbent party will suffer the voters' frustrations, as long as Obama is able to tie McCain to Bush, not exactly too difficult to do.
