Bear yardsale not going well: Bear Stearns Closes in on Deal To Sell Itself to J.P. Morgan online.wsj.com 20$/share is the price that is mentioned in this article. The collapse without apparent bad news is quite stunning. This means that all other WS investment banks (with the exception if GS) are potential roadkill. All is needed is someone crying fire.
