Talk about DEFLATION, Holy Smokes!

It sounds like the FED (ie. U.S. taxpayers) will not be backing up anything in the acquired portfolio. Instead, Bear Stearns shareholders are absorbing the losses. That seems fair to me.

As of 7:50PM EDT tonight, stock market futures ARE UP.
