Limbaugh's large audience is due to a monopoly, which is supposed to be illegal, and is. Plus his minority audience of rightwing dittoheads who like the propaganda, and "red meat" bigotry, fear and hate mongering. But Limbaugh ahs been proven wrong on every issue for years now. He has also been proven a liar and just a plain big fat A-hole.

Limabguh's secret? In many of his most "loyal" markets, he has no competition. Hannity as well. I remember driving through east Texas for instance. I scanned the radio waves and all I could find were Limbaugh and Hannity. Nothing else but evangelical preachers, Mexican stations and country music. That's it. Those poor misled people out in the countryside have literally no choice, no truth, nothing unbiased, no real information. And Limbaugh and Hannity just dig up and reinforce old, ugly prejudices from back in the 1950's. It's really sick and its harmed out country terribly.

The reason this happened was that back in the 90's rightwing media tycoons literally BOUGHT the radio business in the US. No kidding. Yes there is some competition, but don't expect to find muchy of it - yet. However, if Limbaugh had to face off against Ed Schultz I guarantee you he would start losing. And that is starting to happen.

Also, what's with giving Limbaugh a pass on illegal drug addiction and prostitution trips to the Dominican Republican when he's a total hyppcrite about those issues. And why would anyone listen to a guy making 30 million year champion tax cuts for the fat cats while they are getting screwed?
