===> "I don't like his pessimistic rhetoric either. I would rather have a President that looks ahead with optimism and hope and has solutions for a better future." <=== Obama couldn't possibly have any solutions. At least none that would work. Both Obama and Clinton believe that the solution to every problem is to let government run it, and to raise taxes to pay for it. As we all know, the more that government runs, the worse things get. ===> "With this guy, all we get is whining and gloom and doom, and old worn out platitudes and "HOPE" and the feeling that somehow I should be ashamed of something." <=== I think that you are right. When Obama whinned, "We've got a tragic history when it comes to race in this country. We've got a lot of pent up anger and bitterness and misunderstanding...", in front of a mostly white audience in Indiana, he wanted the crowd to feel ashamed and scared because of what White America has done to America's black families. I cannot understand why the news didn't pick up on this quote from Obama's Indiana speech. It sure took me off guard! ===> "Am I supposed to forget the sacrifices my ancestors made so that all men can be free? My Grandfathers who fought for liberation from England. Or my Grandfathers who fought and risked their lives to end slavery? Am I supposed to be ashamed of that? Or the ones who left their homes and lives to fight fascism in Europe and the Pacific?" <=== Americans should never forget the sacrifices of those, past and present, who sacrificed life and limb, to keep us and the world free. However, if either Hillary or Obama, and the Democrats, get any more power, and continue to weaken the US resolve against our enemies, the cost of freedom is going to be much higher in the near future. Obama's simple solution to world problems is to talk to corrupt, brutal dictators. Obama is sure that, if he could have just talked with Hitler, or Satan, or Pol Pot, or Osama bin Laden, or Castro, or Kim Jong il, or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, then there would have been, or would be, peace and freedom throughout the world, and countless millions would not have suffered or died. ===> "He (Barack Obama) doesn't understand real sacrifice." <=== I agree. But, if we are to believe what Obama's mentor says, and that Obama has heard and understood Wright's radical, racist views, then White America could understand and experience new, divisive, racial "sacrifices". There could be a big setback in racial harmony and understanding. |
