I believe Chinese Yuan RMB currency is probably relatively safe to own, if US does go for Amero and declare the greenback obsolete. China is the world largest gold producer and should provide stable backup to the currency. Other currencies like Aussie, Canadian dollar, Ruple, & Yen may be ok too, since those countries trade heavily with China.
