So Bob, I'm curious as to what your opinion is of the Bush governments entering into the bailout of Bear Sterns? This of course is the biggest federal expansion of government powers and functions since the great depression. Now the American taxpayer steps in and guarantees the debt of Bear Sterns while JPMorgan picks up all the valuable pieces for pennies on the dollar. While some on the far right worry about items such as health care to kids - the government has the printing press smoking to a handout of JPMorgan. The consequence is the debasing of the American dollar. One can only wonder where this ends? steve
