Re: piece by Ron Paul... following the link, it says the piece was posted yesterday, and yet, in the middle of it, Paul writes:

"The current supplemental bill going through Congress has grown from $92 billion to over $106 billion, and everyone knows it will not draw President Bush’s first veto."

I found myself nodding in agreement with Paul until I read that last sentence. Either the piece was actually written a year ago or Dr. Paul has forgotten a couple vetoes Bush has already cast, i.e., the most recent being vetoing the anti-torture bill.

So without knowing whether this piece was a re-submission of something he wrote some time ago, or was actually written this past week... well, it throws a big question mark as to credibility without knowing when he actually said the above.

Still, overall, his points are good and I agree with many.

Jim
